Description
This is an Illinois DEVON ENAMEL model wristwatch. It has an excellent unpolished YG case with very rare inlaid black enamel around its bezel. This is only the second case like this one that I have ever seen. It has an excellent original dial with gold foil numerals. The dial has uniformly aged to an amazing soft gold patina. This watch is very special. My poor images do not do it justice, unfortunately.
Its 6/0 size, 21j top-of-the-line Motor Barrel movement is running fine and is guaranteed for one year plus ten days.
This watch formerly was on display at the Farrell and Ann Gay Springfield Industry Museum, the Gay family has requested that I sell it on their behalf.
