Description
This is an Illinois GUARDSMAN model wristwatch. It has an excellent unpolished WGF case with a highly attractive engraving on its case back. It has a near excellent original dial with a terrific very even patina, giving a very unique and rich look to this watch. The dial has a dirt spot near the 12 that will likely clean up nicely.
This watch is from the personal collection of famed Illinois collector Farrell Gay.
Its 3/0 size, 17j movement is running fine and is guaranteed for one year plus ten days.
